Ring the Fast Track Ticket Line on the day of your visit to ride the Trip Boat, and we can have your Tickets waiting for you when you arrive.

The Anderton Boat Lift Visitor Centre, Northwich, Cheshire.

The Lift is a working engineering marvel of the waterways created in 1875.

The Operations Centre boast's a 2 storey facility with cafe area for that much needed 'rest bite'. The Welcome desk serves the retail area and provides Tickets for the Trip Boat through the lift and/or exhibition/area, and toilet facilities.

The lower level houses an exhibition for the lift. The lift control console is situated within the exhibition to allow visitors to see how the operators control the lift as it carries out it's daily schedule.

 Reduced opening hours 11am - 4pm.
 Indicates reduced opening hours 11am - 4pm Exhibition & Grounds only. No trip boat running on these days.
 Closed days.

May 4th 2008:
Due to high demand there is limited availability on the lift and river trips throughout the day. It is strongly recommended that visitors telephone the Fast Track Ticket Line on the morning of the 4th May between 8:30am – 9:30am to reserve their seats (payment will be required over the telephone).

Board the Edwin Clark trip boat, sit back and enjoy the unique experience of being transported 50 feet between two waterways. Listen to the informative and lively commentary and learn how the Cathedral of the Canals is a master of Victorian Engineering. Duration of trip 30-40 minutes (Approximately) 		River trip
Whilst aboard the Edwin Clark trip boat take a scenic and pleasurable cruise along the Weaver Navigation, once a busy commercial waterway it is now a haven for wildlife and a peaceful retreat for any age. Duration of trip 30-40 minutes (Approximately)

Combined Trip
The River Trip and Lift Trip can be combined, subject to availability. For example combine 12:30 Lift Trip with the 13:00 River Trip. We use the same boat for all trips.

Trip Prices also include admission into the Exhibition Centre and Grounds.
Groups
For group prices, the party must consist of at least 12 paying participants. See Group Information.

Maximum capacity of the boat is 56. We can only accommodate 2 wheelchairs per trip.
IMPORTANT: The trips highlighted as group trips are only pre bookable by groups of 19 or more. All other trips can be booked by groups also.
